MC EFCU Checking Account

From February 1, 2015 to April 30, 2015, MC EFCU is offering $100 for new checking accounts that also include net pay direct deposit.*

To apply for a new checking account click on the check book on the right and complete the form. If you are already a member and this is the first time using this new form, click on the "Open Additional Account" button, on the lower left, to add a new checking account.

MC EFCU's checking account is different from accounts you will find elsewhere. They have the same convenient features, but there are some key things they don’t have and you don't want: minimum balance requirements, monthly fees* or per check fees**.

MC EFCU Checking Account holders receive the following free services:
  • Online and telephone account access
  • Mobile banking
  • Text banking
  • Remote deposit capture
  • Online bill pay
  • Visa check card
  • Access to the 30,000 surcharge free ATM locations in the Co-op Network, including all 7-Elevens.
  • Direct deposit and payroll deduction 
Overdraft Protection

*To qualify for the $100 you must open a new MC EFCU personal checking account between February 1, 2015 to April 30, 2015. Within 90 days of account opening you must have your net pay ($500/mo. minimum) directly deposited into your new MC EFCU checking account. Your net pay may come from payroll, pension, Social Security or other government benefits. Offer available to individuals without an existing checking account at MC EFCU as of 2/1/15. If you close your account within six (6) months of account opening, you will be charged a $50 early account closure fee. Employees and family members of MC EFCU are not eligible for this offer. Offer is subject to cancellation without notice. Standard account qualifications apply. Allow six to eight weeks for bonuses to post to your account. The amount of the bonus will be reported on Form 1099-INT. To be eligible for the cash bonus, net pay direct deposit must be a new service for each member accepting the offer. A net pay direct deposit is considered a recurring, pre-authorized deposit of an individual net pay credited to the member’s checking account via the Automated Clearing House (ACH). Onetime ACH credits such as tax refunds, payments/transfers from other bank accounts etc. do not qualify. Cash bonus is limited to $100 per member.
