Follow the steps below and see how easy it is to move your accounts where you can take advantage of the latest in banking technologies, get the best rates, and reduce your fees by joining our growing membership through the steps below or by visiting one of our branches.

Follow these three simple steps to make your switch:

Step 1: Open your MC EFCU account

Gather your personal information (address, state issued identification showing you current address, etc.) to open your MC EFCU account. Complete the Membership Application (access by clicking on the APPLY button above). Mail the application and a copy of your state issued identification, e.g. drivers license to the address at the top of the application, or take the applicaiton to one of MC EFCU's branches. Once you're notified that your account(s) is open, you're ready to benefit from all that accompanies your membership. In addition, you'll be able to sign up for free Online Banking, free Online Bill Pay, free Mobile and Text banking saving you even more time & money!

Step 2: Close your old accounts

Start the transition away from your account at your former institution. You'll want to leave sufficient funds there long enough for outstanding transactions to clear. Once you've verified that your last checks, direct deposits and automatic payments have been posted, you will want to close it out completely.

Step 3: Transfer your Direct Deposits & Automatic Payments

Automatic Payments Change Request*

This form is to be sent to each of your automatic payment vendors (utilities, mortgage, insurance, etc.), notifying them to start using your Mntgomery County EFCU account.

Automatic Payment Cancellation Request*

This document allows you to cancel a direct deduction from your old account.

*The forms we are providing you are generic. An employer/merchant may require a separate form or other documentation.
